چکیده

A biorthogonal formulation is applied to the non-Hermite transcorrelated Hamiltonian, which treats a large amount of the dynamic correlation effects implicitly. We introduce biorthogonal canonical orbitals diagonalizing the non-Hermitian Fock operator. We also formulate many-body perturbation theory for the transcorrelated Hamiltonian. The biorthogonal self-consistent field followed by the second order perturbation theory are applied to some pilot calculations including small atoms and molecules. © 2001 American Institute of Physics. @DOI: 10.1063/1.1408299#

New Transcorrelated Method Improving the Feasibility of Explicitly Correlated Calculations

We recently developed an explicitly correlated method using the transcorrelated Hamiltonian, which is preliminarily parameterized in such a way that the Coulomb repulsion is compensated at short inter-electronic distances. The extra part of the effective Hamiltonian features short-ranged, size-consistent, and state-universal. The localized and frozen nature of the correlation factor makes the e...

Optimization of the Jastrow factor in the correlated wave function of electrons using the first-principles transcorrelated method for solid-state calculations

The transcorrelated (TC) method is one of the wave-function-based methods used for first-principles electronic structure calculations, and in terms of the computational cost is applicable to solid-state calculation. In this method, a many-body wave function of electrons is approximated as a product of the Jastrow factor and the Slater determinant, and the first-principles Hamiltonian is similar...

Explicitly-correlated non-born-oppenheimer calculations of the HD molecule in a strong magnetic field

Explicitly correlated all-particle Gaussian functions with shifted centers (ECGs) are implemented within the earlier proposed effective variational non-Born-Oppenheimer method for calculating bound states of molecular systems in magnetic field (Adamowicz et al., 2015). The Hamiltonian used in the calculations is obtained by subtracting the operator representing the kinetic energy of the center-...

Variational transcorrelated method.

We propose a new approach to the use of Jastrow ansatz in the calculation of electron correlations, based on a modification of the transcorrelated method of Boys and Handy [Proc. R. Soc. London, Ser. A 309, 209 (1969)]. In this new method, the original transcorrelated orbital equation is replaced with a general variational equation for the reference wave function, whereas the equation for the c...

Tensor correlations in the Unitary Correlation Operator Method

We present a unitary correlation operator that explicitly induces into shell model type many-body states short ranged two-body correlations caused by the strong repulsive core and the pronounced tensor part of the nucleon-nucleon interaction. Alternatively an effective Hamiltonian can be defined by applying this unitary correlator to the realistic nucleon-nucleon interaction. The momentum space...
